Man drowns after falling off boat
The body recovered by the rescue team.
Kota Kinabalu: A 38-year-old foreigner drowned after falling off a fishing boat near the Sepanggar naval base, Monday.

A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said they were alerted to the incident and mounted a surface water rescue operation, assisted by the public, in the location where the man was reported to have gone missing.

“The victim, identified as La Habusa, was found by our team where he was last seen at 11.02am.

The body was found at a depth of 4m,” said the spokesman.
