Kota Kinabalu: Bystanders watched in horror as a man fell to his death from the fifth floor of a shopping complex, here, Thursday.

A pair of slippers, believed to have been the man’s, was found on the fifth floor of the premises following the 3.10pm incident. 

A possible relative was also at the scene, however, no further information was obtained from the inconsolable woman. 

Bystanders screamed as they watched the man fall.

The man is understood to have been staying in Taman Pantai Lok Kawi, Papar.

Police were at the scene to investigate.
