TELUPID: The front of a trailer was destroyed by fire at Kampung Wonod, here, on Wednesday (pic).

Beluran Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Chief, Edoen Macheal, said they received a call via the MERS 999 line at 7.43pm.

Five members from BBP Beluran along with a machine and utility vehicle rushed to a location, about 90km away from the station.

“The fire was brought under control at 9.57 pm and no casualties were reported,” he said.

The cause and estimated loss are still under investigation.
