Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah West Coast School Bus Operators Association can now refurbish its headquarters in Beverly Hills with the recently received RM 120,000 government allocation.
Its President, Anthony Wong, said the funds from the State Government will go towards fixing the deteriorating condition of the 26-year-old building.
“This includes roof leakage, ceiling, interior and exterior walls, and some electronics.
“The Association can even regain rental income on a time-sharing basis that was discontinued due to disrepair.
“We thank the State Government and our advisor Datuk Yong Teck Lee for raising the matter to the relevant authorities,” Wong said, Sunday.
Also present were the association’s secretaries, Adriana Lee and Christopher Wong alongside committee members.
The matter first got the attention of Luyang Community Development Leader (PPM), Gee Tien Siong, who is also an advisor.
