Kota Kinabalu: An oil and gas skills training centre, as well as a Technical Education and Vocational Training (TVET) centre, should be established in Sipitang to produce trained and skilled workforce in various fields.Sipitang Member of Parliament, Datuk Matbali Musah said at the same time, it could meet the demand for skilled labour at the Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park (Sogip).
He said the existence of the two training centres could also provide job opportunity, especially to young people as well as contribute to economic growth in the district.
