Kota Kinabalu: Paul Yap Kok Wai has been elected as the new Sabah Engineers Association (SEA) President during its 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa here recently.The other office bearers for the 2023/2024 session are Lo Chong Chiun (Deputy President), Leslie Yew Min Yun (Honorary Secretary), Willy Chin Tet Fu (Honorary Treasurer), Tan Koh Yon (Immediate Past President) and Ordinary Council Members - Datuk Yahiya Ag Kahar, Jenny Koo Pui Pui, Tan Kok Jyh, Liew Vun Shin and Dylan Wong Yun Tzen.

A total of 40 members attended the AGM where many issues were raised and discussed to upgrade the standard of engineering in Sabah. The association aims to besides promote and uphold the principle and standards in the practice of engineering. It will also liaise, exchange ideas and affiliate with any other institutions or associations having similar interests.
