Kota Kinabalu: Kolej Teknologi Yayasan Sabah (KTYS) received three four-wheel drive vehicles from Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB).
Equipped with modern and safety features, they would be used for educational and operational purposes, particularly its Automotive Technology Programme and enhance quality education for its students.
The handover was held at the City Campus, Sembulan and attended by KTYS CEO Haji Samin Haji Ongki, SESB CEO Ir Ts Mohd Yaakob Hj Jaafar and senior representatives both from sides.
Haji Samin expressed his gratitude to SESB for the generous donation, saying it would greatly benefit KTYS in achieving its academic and operational goals.
Haji Samin emphasised the importance of collaborations between industry and academia in nurturing the next generation of skilled professionals for Sabah’s human capital.
Ir Ts Mohd Yaakob expressed delight in contributing to KTYS’ mission of providing technical education to the youth of Sabah. The donation was part of SESB’s commitment to supporting education and empowering the youth of Sabah.
He highlighted SESB’s dedication to supporting the development of the local community and reiterated its corporate social responsibility initiative.
