BEAUFORT: Various programmes to empower the reading of the Qur’an among the young generation will be implemented here to produce more Qari and Qariah of international standard.The Vice President of Sabah United Bisaya Association (PBBS), Jaludin Kadir, said it was to restore the district’s former glory which previously produced many quality Qari and Qariah.
“This religious and al-Quran empowerment programme will be implemented in the near future which will not only ‘enliven’ the recitation of the al-Quran among young people but also aims to produce potential Qari and Qariah.
