PETALING JAYA: A teenage couple have been arrested for reckless driving after a video clip made the rounds showing them riding a motorcycle while doing a ‘wheelie’ in Jalan Chendor, Kuantan.

Kuantan police chief Wan Zahari Wan Busu said the teenagers, both aged 17, were arrested by police in front of the boy’s house in Kampung Balok today.

The teenagers were arrested by an officer and eight members of the Kuantan traffic police, who also seized a white Honda EX5 motorcycle believed to have been used for the stunt.

The couple were taken to Kuantan for further investigation, Wan Zahari said.

A teenage labourer pleaded guilty in the Kota Bharu magistrates’ court on April 30 to a dangerous stunt while riding a motorcycle with his wife on April 22.
