Furthermore, he said, the anti-party hopping law is in place, strengthening the government.

When asked about the six state elections in the peninsula, he said he is not interested in commenting about them.

“We still have two more years in Sabah, and we are going to finish it (the term),” he said.

Previously, it was reported that Anwar had challenged those who want to topple the Federal Government to move a vote of no confidence against him during the coming May 22 Parliament sitting.

He said he needed to stop talking about a conspiracy to topple the unity government, which could sabotage and destabilise the federal administration.

He also warned his detractors not to sabotage the Federal Government.

He promised that the Unity Government would take action accordingly without compromise.

Anwar was also reported as saying that the Unity Government is still strong with the support of 148 MPs and stressed the legitimacy of the government is intact.
