LABUAN: Member of Parliament Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman said that the prize money for the 25th Labuan International Deep Sea Fishing Tournament should have “been better” than before so that the event would remain world-recognised as a premier competition.
He said deep sea fishing is a star event of the annual sic-day Labuan International Sea Challenge if the offered purse was mouth-watering.
“Not only would the tournament be placed firmly in the global fishing map but it would draw even large number of participants as many would see it worthy to do.”
