BELURAN: The body of a 28-year-old man who went missing after being attacked by a crocodile in Sungai Rawog, Ladang Linbar 2, here, was found Thursday.

The body of Rudi Amiruddin was found in an incomplete state without the lower body and both hands.

Beluran Fire and Rescue Station Chief Edoen Macheal said rescue personnel and villagers found the body at 10.30am some one kilometre from where the victim went missing.

According to witnesses, before the incident the victim was cleaning the electric fence area in the farm, bordering Sg Rawog, on Tuesday.

“While resting, the victim went to the riverside to wash his hands and feet, but suddenly a crocodile appeared and dragged the victim into the river,” said Edoen.

The victim’s body has been handed over to the police for further action.
