KUALA LUMPUR: The future of the young generation needs to be raised as one of the essential segments and priority agenda of the Unity Government, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Chairman said the government needs to address the "fears and concerns" of the young people about job opportunities and future challenges.
He assured that Sabah's voice and demands related to the rights and interests of Sabah are not only about the interests of the State, but based on the commitment to uphold the Federal Constitution and the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).
"We never take the rights of others but demand that our rights be preserved and implemented.
"There is no question of loyalty to the country. This homeland belongs to us. We live and die for our beloved Malaysia," he said at the Unity Government National Convention 2023 at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre, here, Sunday.
He said, Sabah greatly appreciates the Prime Minister's concern in implementing MA63-related issues that have been delayed for so long.
