Kota Kinabalu: Sabah needs a faith rehabilitation centre which, besides strengthening Sharia offenders, also function to empower converts in State.Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Islamic Affairs), Datuk Ruslan Muharam said, his party is planning to establish such a centre of which there are only two in Malaysia, in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan.
He said they have discussed with the Sabah Islamic Religious Affairs Department (Jheains) regarding the proposed construction of the first faith restoration centre in Sabah.
