Kota Kinabalu: A total of 28 teams are taking part in the Fiesta Kaamatan Grassroot football tournament organised by Tuubagu Football Academy at Penampang Sports Complex.
Some 300 players turned up at the opening ceremony which was officiated by Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick on Monday.
Three categories are being held in the two-day competition with nine teams competing in the Under-8 category, 13 in the Under-10 and six in the Under-17.
