Beaufort road almost buried by landslide
A hillside collapsed at Mile 60 and nearly buried the left side of a road.
BEAUFORT: A hillside collapsed at Mile 60 and nearly buried the left side of a road, Saturday.

A resident identified as Albert said the incident, located near a quarry, occurred before noon time, when a large rock suddenly rolled and caused the land to slide.

He said as the incident occurred near a quarry, the relevant parties should monitor area for any potential dangers.
“Fortunately, there were no vehicles or villagers passing by at that time or the collapse could have caused an accident,” he said Saturday.
