Kota Kinabalu: The Indigenous Lotud Sabah Society (ILSS) fully supports the recent statement by Kadazan Dusun Cultural Association (KDCA) Youth Council on improving the annual State Kaamatan Festival celebration held at the Hongkod Koisaan KDCA, Penampang.

ILSS President Eldridge Jilan said while the Kadazan Dusun Murut (KDM) community must support KDCA as the umbrella platform that has been bringing people to converge in the venue for Kaamatan Festival every year, “issues concerning the celebration must also be given serious attention to.”

“The Society is confident that KDCA central committee will take note of these concerns, and we hope a better and well-managed event will be conducted after this.”
