SANDAKAN: Aedes mosquitoes are able to breed indoors and not just outdoors.Sandakan Health Officer 2 Dr Hafizah Ibrahim said in this regard, the role of all communities is important in ensuring that the surrounding areas in their homes are free from becoming a breeding ground for dengue fever-carrying mosquitoes.
“Take the time to check your home surroundings so that it is always free from becoming a breeding ground for these mosquitoes,” he told reporters after launching a joint programme to eliminate the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes, in conjunction with the Sandakan-level 2023 Asean Dengue Day at the Taman Mesra PPR Futsal Court, here, Saturday.
