Woman fined while using Waze in Penang has important message
The woman advises netizens against illegally using the phone while driving.
Kota Kinabalu: A woman has reportedly warned on Facebook that handling the mobile phone although briefly while using the Waze navigation app while driving is a traffic offence as she found out the hard way in Penang recently.

Candi MieCi said she only briefly picked up her phone off her lap to consult Waze while navigating a roundabout, a seemingly harmless act that was spotted by a traffic policeman.

The traffic policeman stopped her and said even “that” was not allowed and subsequently fined her, reported goodymy.com.

Candi advised netizens against illegally using the phone while driving.
