Four vehicles seized in Sandakan JPJ ops

SANDAKAN: A total of four vehicles were seized through Integrated Operations with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) Sabah Sandakan Branch at Batu 6, here.

The operation, led by the Director of Sabah, Mohd Harris Ali, was accompanied by 119 officers and enforcement members of the Sabah and Sandakan JPJ as well as its strategic partner agencies the National Anti-Drug Agency Sandakan, PDRM, the Malaysian Immigration Department Sandakan, the Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.

At the press conference, Harris said among focus of the integrated operation was to take strict action against road users driving without a licence under Section 26 (1) of the Road Transport Act (APJ) 1987 which is Act 333 against users, drivers and vehicle owners.
