SANDAKAN: Karamunting Assemblyman, George Hiew Vun Zin, delivered 4,000kg packs of meat to 4,000 residents from 20 villages and housing in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha.

He said the beef distribution programme was to enable to prepare for the Aidiladha celebration.

He thanked the Special Team of Karamunting, Women, Youth and youth of PGRS Karamuting for their help in the distribution of beef.

Meanwhile, two village leaders, Hussin Abdul Karim of Kampung Kombo and Amran Sapri of Kampung Air, thanked their assemblyman.

Head of PGRS Karamuting Youth, Daniel Suhaimi, said this was a noble effort and they would try to distribute sacrificial meat in the future.

George, who is also Chairman of the Sandakan National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) Squad, presented the distribution to representatives of the Sandakan AADK and the Malaysian Civil Defense Force (APM) Sandakan.
