Sabah police monitoring for online child sexual abuse

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah police will continue to monitor for online child sexual abuse after Sabah was recently revealed to be the fourth state with the most cases involving graphic exploitation.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun also said police will not hesitate in making arrests.

“Yes, there is perpetration in Sabah. A man was arrested for it earlier this year,” he said.

The Bukit Aman Sexual, Women and Children Crime Investigation Division said 375 Internet protocol (IP) addresses from Sabah were detected to be consuming child porn between 2018 and January 2023.
