Kota Kinabalu: Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Dr Ariffin Mohd Arif suggested religious departments and agencies in the State increase the programmes and Islamic arts.

He said it is vital to bring back the richness and beauty of Islamic art heritage among the community, especially the young generation so that it is not lost in time.

“It is to ensure that the pride of the Muslim community is able to grow in Sabah,” he said after officiating the Islamic Arts Carnival and MUJAS Sports Games at Dewan Saadah Muis, on July 3.
