Anwar promises to review civil service salaries
The decision to review the civil service salary scheme was made because there had been no salary adjustments since 2013, according to the prime minister.
SEREMBAN: The government will have a discussion on reviewing the civil service salary scheme at the Cabinet meeting next week, says Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

He said the decision to review the scheme nationwide was made because there had been no salary adjustments since 2013.

“In general, the wages and salaries of civil servants are still at a very low level and it is reasonable for the government to consider this, even though we are bound by financial constraints.
