Kota Kinabalu: Warisan Vice President Datuk Junz Wong urged the State Government to prioritise all residents of Tanjung Aru low-cost flats for new accommodation.
“I request the GRS government, especially Deputy Chief Minister III and Works Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya, to give priority to the residents of Tanjung Aru low-cost flats regarding the placement issue, as this problem has been ongoing for two years, and the residents have been under pressure from LPPB to move out as soon as possible.
“He (Shahelmey) mentioned that the Government faces difficulties in relocating all the residents of Tanjung Aru low-cost flats to Kibabaig and Tuaran due to the large number of occupants, around 300 families,” he said.
