PGRS Tambunan leaders urged to work hard

Kota Kinabalu: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah Tambunan Chief Dato Victor P Paut urged officials including members to continue to carry out their duties and responsibilities according to the people’s expectation.

“We should all be responsible leaders and perform our obligations to the public with full dedication to ensure progress and to greater heights for the party, Sabah and Malaysia in general,” he said when speaking at the division’s first meeting at Magelan Sutera Harbour Resort recently.

He reminded leaders and members they have a big role to contribute to the party and government.

“Our task is to help strengthen the party’s struggle in ensuring that it continues to lead the Sabah Government together with the party’s coalition partners in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS),” he said.

Therefore, he said, division leaders should approach the people, convey information about government policies including plans for economic development to the local community.

Victor said Gagasan Rakyat would continue to establish good relations with its coalition partners in GRS in Tambunan to ensure that the rakyat would benefit from development and economic spillover.

Victor presented the appointment letters to the division committee members including heads of respective bureaus.
