Hone special needs students’ skills: Minister
Some of the special needs students taking part in the event.
Kota Kinabalu: Students with Special Educational Needs (MBPK) cannot be left out, said Assistant Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry, Peto Galim.

They need to be guided and polished in all areas for guaranteed.

“If these children can be polished they can achieve great things,” he said.

“We need to pay special attention in helping them so they don’t fall out of the flow of national development,” he said, when opening the Kota Kinabalu District Level Special Education Athletics Championship at Likas Stadium, Saturday.

Some 226 athletes from 11 primary schools and five secondary participated in the two-day tournament.

Also present was Kota Kinabalu District Education Officer (PPD), Suhaimi Matshah.
