Woman decries ‘inaction’
“The officer handling my case said my reports were still being processed and the investigation is continuing," she said.
Kota Kinabalu: A woman has questioned the delay in police investigations into her complaints of alleged assault by her “Datuk” husband who is a high ranking State Ministry official.

The woman identified as Wong, 31, said she lodged three reports against her husband who allegedly injured her despite being pregnant.

However, to her dismay, she claimed she learnt later that investigation papers were opened against her and that the case was referred to Bukit Aman and Putrajaya because her husband was “famous”.

Her husband had lodged a police report against her for allegedly damaging property during their quarrel at his office.
