SHAH ALAM: Perikatan Nasional (PN) respects and graciously accepts the choices made by the voters in the six state elections held yesterday, its chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said.

The Bersatu president said PN thanked all those who supported the coalition in the polls. 

“PN also congratulates the 146 of our candidates who won. This is an encouraging achievement for PN, which contested 245 seats. 

“This means PN has won 60 per cent of the total seats contested,” he told a press conference at Concorde Hotel here last night. 

Also present were PN secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, Gerakan president Datuk Dr Dominic Lau Hoe Chai and members of the PN leadership.
