Kota Kinabalu: Ensuring cleanliness, including in public toilets and food establishments, is pivotal to attracting both tourists and locals alike.

Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, Datuk Abidin Madingkir, hoped that entrepreneurs and premises owners maintain hygiene standards.

“Upholding cleanliness will heighten the confidence of the public and tourists, augmenting their eagerness to explore the city, particularly the night market,” said Abidin during the launching of the Bandaran Berjaya night market on Monday.

The market operates every Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 12am, featuring around 30 vendors selling a variety of halal foods and musical performances by buskers.
