Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s mobile online game players broke the record for most games played in a day, with over 550 matches of eFootball in one single day across the whole State, Tuesday.
efootball National League Sabah Qualifier organising chairman Andi Rizman Lampe said they received an overwhelming response from the players even though eFootball is relatively new.
“Our administrators were thrilled and shocked during the first day of the series (Tuesday), having needing to handle 550 matches in a single day,” said Andi, who is also Squadrhino Esport Club (SPC) President, in a statement.
“This is a very positive sign for esports, and SPC will be in talks with the state association to do further events."
