Kota Kinabalu: Bongawan Gagasan Rakyat Division welcomes the proposal by Qhazanah Sabah Bhd to relocate the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) to Kimanis, according to Bongawan Gagasan Rakyat Deputy Sponsor Chief Mursidi Sapie.
The former Sabah Town and Regional Planning Director said it is time for the State and Federal governments to give due consideration to the proposal for the future development of Sabah, especially Bongawan.
“We need to be responsive and think positively about the proposal because there will be more good and benefits to be gained from the development as stated by Qhazanah Sabah Chairman Datuk Dr Yusof Yaacob,” he said.
