Kota Kinabalu: Sabah is set to hold another international sporting event with the River Stand Up Paddling (SUP) Ultra Race planned for next year.
Nick Boura, a French national who made Sabah his home for the past 18 years, is hopeful the first ever edition of the unique event will materialise in late 2024.
He said meetings have been held with the relevant authorities and several rivers are currently being evaluated and tested by his team.
