TS25 to improve quality of students and schools
Hajiji hoped that through the colloquium, more and more appreciation and recognition of research, innovation and good practice can be established so that it becomes the herald of an excellent work culture.
Kota Kinabalu: The School Transformation Programme 2025 (TS25) is capable of producing quality teachers and a meaningful Teaching and Facilitation (PdPc) environment with the support of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and the community, says Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

He said TS25 is an effort towards producing superior human capital through a fun learning environment, supported by quality and visionary leadership, competent and highly aspirational teachers and a cohesive community commitment.

According to him, the TS25 programme is part of the Education Ministry's efforts to improve the quality of students and schools.

“The State Government very much welcomes and supports the TS25 programme to help improve the education excellence in Sabah,” he said at the closing of the 2023 International level TS25 Colloquium at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), here, Tuesday.

His speech was read by Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan.

The Chief Minister said the two-day colloquium, themed “School Transformation Propel District Excellence”, involved participation and sharing of TS25 best practices from school, district and state education levels as well as foreign educational institutions.

“Indeed, this platform from schools to the international scene meets the demands of the challenges of globalisation transformation in education so that educators in TS25 schools are more motivated to continue transforming, creating, sharing success from best practices, research findings, interventions, creativity and innovation that are capable to give added-value in overcoming education and management issues among educators.

“The continuation of the internationalisation of this colloquium can also ensure the continuity of research and innovation and that our education continues to flourish.

“Many of our educators at TS25 schools have high-impact research findings, meaningful teaching and learning strategies, innovations that can reduce or overcome issues with a large impact in the classroom but are not shared and disseminated to be used as best practices by other educators,” he added.

Hajiji hoped that through the colloquium, more and more appreciation and recognition of research, innovation and good practice can be established so that it becomes the herald of an excellent work culture.

He said the participation of the TS25 colloquium participants and presenters is a positive paradigm dynamic in the transformation of educational excellence that will impact educational excellence at the district, state and national levels.

He hoped the results of the colloquium could be shared and used for the sake of the excellence and development of students and schools, especially in Sabah.
