PENAMPANG: A retired policeman died of head injuries after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a bulldozer on an unfinished section of the Pan Borneo Highway here Thursday.

Police said the 2.30pm incident happened at a section of the highway under construction near the Monsopiad Cultural Villlage.

The man, who was attached to the Security and Public Order Department at the Penampang Police Headquarters, was pronounced dead by a medical officer at the scene.

Police advised the public not to use unfinished roads.
