KENINGAU: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Senator Dato Setia Dr Haji Mohd Na’im Haji Mokhtar said that until now the Alumni of Institute of Islamic Studies and Dakwah Sabah (IPDAS) Keningau and Kudat Campus are 15,709 people.

He said the success achieved by IPDAS earlier known as the Keningau Dakwah Training Centre (PLDK) could not have been realised without the initial step of the State and Federal governments signing the handover agreement of the three Dakwah Training Centres on May 21, 1984.

“This handover involves the Keningau Dakwah Training Centre (PLD Keningau), the Kudat Dakwah Training Centre (PLD Kudat) and the Tongod Dakwah Training Centre (PLD Tongod),” he said at the 17th IPDAS Convocation Ceremony at Tun Sakaran Hall here.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor officiated the ceremony and presented diploma, certificates and awards to all the students.
