Kota Kinabalu: City police said they had received a report from a Chinese tourist relating to a spy cam installed inside a wall socket at a homestay here where they were staying.

Police said they received the report on Sept. 7 and subsequently seized the spy cam.

“Efforts to identify the perpetrator(s) are underway,” police said in a statement.
