RANAU: Three boys were rescued after being stranded in the middle of a river during a water-surge phenomenon near here on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire department said eight rescuers were rushed to the scene in Kampung Puru-Puru.
They rescued the 12-year-olds using a rope.
