Kota Kinabalu: State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam urged Sabah’s architects to incorporate more green into their designs. He said sustainability and reducing carbon emissions is imperative to minimise the effects of climate change.
“It is estimated that about 70 per cent of the world’s population will live in urban areas by the middle of this century.
“Studies have shown that urban areas would be impacted most by climate change, which in fact we are experiencing like never before - erratic rainfalls, flash floods and extreme temperatures.
