KOTA KINABALU: A 53-year-old pedestrian was killed after being hit by a Nissan Navara along Jalan Lintas-Kepayan, here, Sunday.
Shamol Kaimen, from Sipitang was pronounced dead at the scene following the 9.05pm accident.
The Navara driver, a 22-year-old man from Kuching, was said to be on his way for dinner when the accident occured.
The impact caused the pedestrian to be thrown some 50 feet away.
