Penalise airlines for flight changes
MyAirline announced it was halting its operations with immediate effect on Oct 12.
Kota Kinabalu: Frequent rescheduling of flights has significantly affected passengers’ travel plans and work arrangements, said the Sabah Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Satta).

Its Chairman Dato’ Seri Winston Liaw urged the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) to be proactive in improving the situation.

In the second quarter of 2023, Liaw said AirAsia started cancelling and rescheduling flights for domestic sectors.

“Now, as we move into the last quarter of 2023, this issue has extended to international sectors, especially China-bound flights, severely impacting passengers and tour operators,” he said.
