Kota Kinabalu: Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew is hopeful about meeting the target of 2.2 million tourist arrivals despite the hiccups caused by the abrupt suspension of MYAirline’s operations.
With tourist arrivals currently standing at 2.2 million, Christina said that they will look for alternative ways to meet the 2.2 million target.

“We still have one and half months until the end of the year. We work hard, we will get there, and the targeted 2.2 million arrivals will be translated into RM2.9 billion,” she said at a press conference.
