Anwar receives threat over his Israeli govt criticism, his security to be beefed up

PETALING JAYA: The police will beef up Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s security after he disclosed that he was threatened over his criticisms of the Israeli government.

According to Bernama, Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain said the police will not compromise on Anwar’s safety.

“The security of the prime minister is our top priority,” he said.

However, Razarudin said the threats may be related to economic measures.
