Kota Kinabalu: Layang Layang Flying Academy, in partnership with the Royal Malaysian Navy and SAR Aero Services, has set a remarkable precedent in military-civilian cooperation, reshaping the aviation training landscape and bolstering Malaysia’s defence and security.
For the first time, RMN has chosen to collaborate with a private operator for flight instructor training, marking a significant leap forward.
The programme ended Friday. Present were Capt Mohamed Sham bin Saimon (Kota Kinabalu Naval Base Air Commander), Kdr TS Dilagar Muthumani (Assistant Chief of Staff Material, Naval Air Wing Headquarters) and Capt John Sham (LLFA Head of Training).
