Kota Kinabalu: CONGRATULATIONS to the Sabah women team for winning the National Women Football League 2023 following their 1-1 draw with Malaysian Universities in the final game of the season at UiTM Stadium last Saturday.
The final result enabled us to clinch the title at the expense of Kelana United FC who also accumulated the same 14 points.
Sabah got the points from three wins, four draws and lost only once to Kelana United right through the competition.
We had scored as many as 14 goals and conceded four while Kelana United only managed to score 10 and let in 11.
