Kota Kinabalu: The first-ever report on Demographic and Socioeconomic Changes in Sabah revealed that only 49.1 per cent of married women participate in the workforce compared to a significantly higher 96.8 per cent for married men.

The report’s launch at a Shangri-La Tanjung Aru, recently, was a collaborative effort between the United Nations Population Fund Malaysia (UNPFM), Universiti Malaya and Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
