PENAMPANG: The Government should pay serious attention to the issue of alcohol and drug abuse by building a rehabilitation centre.
Kapayan Assemblywoman Jannie Lasimbang said this during the Circus Arts Technical Health Awareness Workshop in collaboration with Edulife Berhad and the Association for the Prevention of Alcohol Misuse (APAM) which was funded through her State Assembly allocation.
The workshop on Saturday at the Hintun Toiva Hall in Kampung Kobusak, here, was attended by more than 60 people from the communities around Kapayan, Penampang and Kota Kinabalu.
