BEAUFORT: Two siblings were arrested after being suspected of being involved in several housebreaking cases here and Kota Kinabalu.

District Police Chief DSP Ismail Abdullah said the two suspects were arrested in separate raids on Tuesday and Wednesday.

They were believed to be involved in house burglaries, causing a cash loss of RM78,000.

"Preliminary revelations found that the money from the break-ins was put into several bank accounts belonging to their family members," he said, Sunday.
