NABAWAN: The Rural Community Centre (PKD) Mobile programme organised by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) received encouraging response in the district.
Nabawan was selected as the second location for the implementation of the PKD Mobile programme. The PKD Mobile Series One programme held in Gerik district, Perak, on Oct 14 received a warm response and achieved its goal.
Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup, said 24 ministries, departments and agencies that provide various assistance, services and advisory services as well as side activities benefited the residents.
Arthur, who is also a Pensiangan MP, said the advisory services and various forms of assistance provided can be applied for by all as long as they meet the conditions.
“This includes financial assistance, education assistance, housing assistance and others,” he said.
