KENINGAU: Keningau Vocational College’s special needs student, Victer Ben Salleh, 17, received an honorary certificate from the Special Education Network and Inclusion Association (Senia) for his achievements in sports through premier school and special education tournaments at the district, state and national levels.
He is an athlete in the throwing events — shot put, discus and javelin in the school tournament throughout 2022/2023.
He won gold, silver and bronze medals in the javelin, shot put and discus events at the Malaysian School Sports Council (MSSM) Special Education Athletics Championship held in Kuala Lumpur in 2022, said the College’s Head of Research and Innovation, Dr Sirhajwan Idek, here.
